We invite you to enjoy water activities for infants at Beit Issie Shapiro. Our activities are held in heated pools with the latest equipment and facilities and are conducted by our professional staff.
Water Activities for Infants
Water activities for infants take place in two heated indoor pools. The water is heated to 33.5 degrees centigrade and the surrounding area is heated to 30 degrees centigrade. The activities adhere to all regulations and are supervised by the State of Israel’s Ministry of Health. A lifeguard is present at the pool at all times.
Infants as young as three months old can begin water activities. The activities take place once each week for 30 minutes in groups of up to 8 infants.
The instructors are hydrotherapists and graduates of special courses in water activities for infants. The activities are supervised by Orit Fisher, a Developmental Physiotherapist (B.PT) who specializes in child development.
Enjoy a variety of activities that take place in two heated swimming pools. The pools are heated to 33.5 degrees centigrade throughout the year and are supervised by the State of Israel’s Ministry of Health. All lessons are given by a team of swimming instructors, certified hydrotherapists, and qualified swimming teachers and coaches.
We offer a variety of classes and activities for children, youth, and adults:
- Individual lessons (Including overcoming fear of the water)
- Swimming lessons and improving swimming style in small groups up to 5 swimmers
- Swimming lessons and improving swimming style
- Training in swimming for children and adults
The lessons are adapted to the level of development and ability of each swimmer.
